🗣Last years price is not todays price! With the new year comes new jobs and opportunities. No more lowballing and selling ourselves short. Here are a few things to remember when seeking new opportunities & negotiating your salary:
1) Research salary before initial interview with recruiter. Some recruiters ask about salary expectations before moving through the rounds
2) Give a range for base pay and total compensation
3) ALWAYS negotiate. The first offer is rarely ever the best offer
4) Inflation rate in 2021 was nearly 7%. Keep that in mind when creating salary expectations
